HOW DO I....
OBTAIN A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION?
The Primary Care Trust forbids us to take requests for repeat medication over the telephone; this is for safety reasons. For patients on regular medication we ask you to place requests for repeat prescriptions in the box provided in the lobby. If possible please tick the items required on your computer printout when requesting repeat medication and indicate on your printout if you wish to collect your prescription from the surgery or the chemist. Please allow 48 hours for your prescription to be ready. Periodically, you may see a stamp on your prescription asking you to see the doctor, nurse or to have a blood test. If you are on regular medication it is important that you see the nurse practitioner or doctor for a medication review to ensure that you are receiving the optimum benefit.
